Eric S Farmer

Co-Founder and CEO

With over two decades of experience blending healthcare, risk management, and EHS strategy, Eric Farmer brings deep expertise and a calm, clear-eyed approach to every safety challenge. His journey began in health care, where he spent 23 years focused on preventing harm before it happened—an ethos that now defines his work in occupational safety.

Eric holds a Master’s in Occupational Safety & Health and is a Board-Certified Safety Professional (CSP). He led the creation of GE Vernova’s offshore wind health and safety plan for the Americas, adapting international standards where U.S. ones didn’t yet exist. His contributions helped shape what are now the U.S. regulations for offshore wind safety.

Today, Eric oversees operations at STHS with a focus on scalable systems, smart processes, and proactive safety leadership. He’s especially passionate about translating complex regulations into practical, human-first strategies that reduce risk and protect workers. As both a strategist and boots-on-the-ground practitioner, Eric helps clients build safety cultures that last.

Eric Sixberry doesn’t just talk safety—he’s lived it, offshore and on-site, across oil rigs, wind farms, and global project sites for over 20 years. From serving as a critical care paramedic on decommissioning platforms in West Africa to leading EHS operations for major offshore wind builds, Eric’s career has been defined by high-risk environments and human-first leadership.

As Chief Vision Officer at STHS, Eric drives the creative direction of the company—leading media strategy, safety storytelling, and innovation projects that help clients build safer, more resilient cultures. He’s a connector of ideas and people, always exploring how visual communication, automation, and lived experience can close the gap between policy and practice.

Outside of STHS, Eric runs a thriving short-term rental business and often works remotely while traveling. His blend of field grit, creative energy, and systems thinking gives STHS a unique edge in how safety gets communicated, understood, and lived on the ground.
